The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division has the responsibility to serve Robertson County’s 476 square miles and a growing population of 67,106 citizens by detecting and deterring criminal acts, responding to calls for service, investigating violations of the law, and increasing the safety of our roadways and community. The Patrol Division strives to serve the public with respect and dignity, safeguarding lives and property in a fair & impartial manner. The Sheriff’s Office hold its Deputies to high professional and ethical standards while fulfilling our constitutional duties.

Lieutenant Bart Posey
Patrol Division A Squad Commander
Lieutanant Bart Posey began his career with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office as a Dispatcher in 2005. He was a Dispatch Supervisor prior to being promoted to the Patrol Division in 2009. Lt. Posey has served the Patrol Division in supervision capacities as Corporal, and Sergeant before being promoted to Lieutenant in 2019. He is a graduate of Springfield High School. Lt. Posey is certified as a Domestic Violence Instructor, Field Training Officer, and TN Safe at Home Department Coordinator. Lt. Posey has also attended several specialized training schools including instruction in the areas of Leadership and Management. |

Lieutenant Nick Roberts
Patrol Division B Squad Commander
Lieutenant Nick Roberts began his career at the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office in 2011. Lt. Roberts worked in the Corrections Division prior to being promoted to the Patrol Division later in 2011. Lt. Roberts served as both a Corporal and a Sergeant with the Patrol Division before being promoted to Patrol Lieutenant in 2019. Lt. Roberts currently serves as the instructor for the Field Training Officer Program and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Lt. Roberts previously served in the United States Army and Tennessee Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer and deployed with the 3rd Infantry Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Lt. Roberts has attended several specialized training schools including Drug Recognition Expert and Advanced Leadership. |
