Lieutenant Jennifer Holmes began her law enforcement career as a Correctional Officer with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office in 2007. Upon completion of the police academy at the East Tennessee Regional Law Enforcement Academy in 2008, she went to work for the Springfield Police Department where she was the 1st officer to receive “Officer of the Quarter.” In 2017, Deputy Holmes began her career with the Robertson County Sheriff Office as a School Resource Officer, and in 2021 she was promoted to Lieutenant and became the Juvenile Outreach Director of the newly created Juvenile Outreach Division for the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office. Lieutenant Holmes holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Bethel University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Liberty University where she was inducted into The Society of Collegiate Leadership & Achievement. Lieutenant Holmes is certified in Grant Writing, Accident Reconstruction, Supervisory Management, Business Management, TIES/NCIC/NLETS, DRE (Drug Recognition Expert), IACP (International Association of Chiefs of Police), Drug Evaluation and Classification Program, Field Training Officer (FTO), and Instructor Development.
