Captain Wayne Schoenheit, Administrative Division Commander

Captain Wayne Schoenheit began his career at the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office in October of 2005. Captain Schoenheit worked in the Corrections Division prior to being promoted to Patrol Deputy in September of 2006. Captain Schoenheit served patrol as Corporal and Sergeant prior to becoming Patrol Lieutenant in December of 2012. Captain Schoenheit currently serves as the training officer for Stinger Spike Systems, Window Tint, DUI detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Field Training Officer Instructor, and ASP. Captain Schoenheit has received specialized leadership training by the LEIC Command Level Leadership, UT Institute for Public Service Mid-Level Leadership, and FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development. Captain Schoenheit was born and raised in Rochester, New York prior to moving to Hendersonville, TN in May of 1995. Captain Schoenheit graduated Hendersonville High School in 1996 and went on to Tennessee State University where he earned a degree in Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology in May of 2000. While at Tennessee State University Captain Schoenheit served as President for the Criminal Justice Organization from fall 1998 to the spring of 2000.

 Lieutenant Brandon Jewell

Lieutenant Brandon Jewell began his career with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office in November of 2012. Lieutenant Jewell worked in the Corrections Division as a Corrections Officer until his promotion to Patrol Deputy for the Patrol Division in December of 2014. He served as a Patrol Corporal and Patrol Sergeant prior to his promotion to Administrative Lieutenant in September of 2020. Lieutenant Jewell has received training in the areas of leadership, Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement, Drug Abuse Recognition, Interview and Interrogations, Initial Response to Missing Children, and Instructor Development. He has also served as a Field Training Officer for the Patrol and Corrections Divisions. Lieutenant Jewell previously worked for the Tennessee Department of Corrections prior to joining the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office. Lieutenant Jewell grew up in Illinois and graduated from Alamogordo High School in New Mexico prior to moving to Tennessee in 2010.
