Greenbrier, TN (February 5th, 2025) – The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office currently has an active arrest warrant for Criminal Homicide for Jimmy Anthony Cox (Age 39), in relation to the homicide of Jeremy Dean Crabtree (Age 50) at a residence on Fisher Grove Rd in Greenbrier, TN.
On February 4th, 2025, deputies responded to a welfare check call at a residence on Fisher Grove Rd in Greenbrier, TN. At the scene, deputies located Jeremy Crabtree deceased with stab wounds. Investigation determined the homicide started with a domestic situation between Jeremy Crabtree (stepfather), and the suspect, Jimmy Cox (stepson). The suspect, Jimmy Cox, then fled on foot. Multiple law enforcement agencies have continuously searched the area using aircraft, drones, K9, and ground patrols. Deputies and officers have also answered numerous calls across the county for possible sightings; however, none of them could be confirmed or substantiated as the suspect.
