Springfield, TN, August 30, 2017â On August 28, 2017, the Robertson County Sheriffâs Office received reports of two burglaries on James Stone Road in Cedar Hill. Upon arrival, deputies found that the suspects broke into each house and had stolen property.
Shortly after these burglaries were reported, Cheatham County also had a burglary reported where witnesses were able to provide a vehicle description. An officer with the Pleasant View Police Department spotted the vehicle and made a traffic stop. The occupants had property from the burglaries inside the vehicle. The suspects were transported to the Cheatham County Sheriffâs Office.
Kyler Wayman, age 18, and one juvenile female were both arrested and transported to the Cheatham County Sheriffâs Office. Along with their charges in Cheatham County, they will have charges in Robertson County of aggravated burglary x2, theft of property x2, and vandalism x2.
âWe are grateful for our fellow law enforcement partners for apprehending these burglary suspects after they had left our county,â said Chief Deputy Michael Van Dyke. âThis should serve as an example to any would-be offender that we are all working together to reduce crime and bring those to justice that decide to commit these offenses.â
