Springfield, TN, May 6, 2015–Last week was a busy one for the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office. On April 28th, Terry E. Holman, from Springfield was arrested in Logan County, Kentucky after a pursuit that began in Tennessee. Holman was under investigation suspected of committing recent vehicle thefts and burglaries in our county. A detective with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office spotted Holman on Highway 431 North headed towards Kentucky. The detective was unable to catch up to his vehicle and Kentucky authorities were notified Holman was entering their county. Logan County deputies spotted Holman and pursued the subject until he stopped and fled on foot. Robertson County’s K-9 unit was requested to conduct a search of the area. Our K-9 unit captured Holman and he was placed into custody. He is currently incarcerated in the Logan County Jail for numerous charges. Holman already had an outstanding warrant for Violation of Probation, and other charges are pending against him for the vehicle thefts and burglaries in Robertson County.

On the same day, Alton Lee Cohea, Jr. and a juvenile accomplice were arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary and Theft of Property. Detectives had been investigating various burglaries in the Cedar Hill area. Cohea and the juvenile are suspected of being involved. Cohea is currently incarcerated at the Robertson County Detention facility under a $20,000 bond. There are three (3) other juveniles under investigation for other burglaries in the Cedar Hill area and charges are forthcoming.

Late Saturday night into early Sunday morning on May 3rd, sheriff’s office deputies arrested another subject that was wanted in Robertson, Smith, and Sumner counties after a manhunt in the Stroudsville area. Jonathan Williams was involved in an accident on I-24. Before authorities arrived, he fled on foot. An extensive search of the area near the 19 and 20 mile markers was conducted. Our deputies were able to locate Williams and place him under arrest for multiple charges including evading arrest, resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an accident. He was booked into the Robertson County Detention Facility.
